Alioli (Garlic Mayonnaise) - DIP
Preparation Time: 5 mins
Resting Time: 1 hour
Ingredients: 250grms Mayonnaise
2 medium cloves of garlic
1tsp of dried parsley or 1 tblsp of fresh parsley
Method: Place the mayonnaise in a bowl, crush the garlic and add to the
mayonnaise together with the dried or fresh parsley. Mix
thoroughly then chill in the fridge for at least one hour.
Serve at room temperature.
Note: The longer the dip stands before serving, the more intense the garlic
flavour, if you don't like a strong garlic flavour, reduce the amount
added to the mayonnaise.
Tips: Use as a dip with crusty bread, french fries or chips or raw
vegetables such as strips of celery and carrots.
Variations: Use Low Fat mayonnaise for a healthier option.
Use half Low Fat mayonnaise and half Créme Fraiche for a lighter
version.
